About

Tour Israel’s national memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

The main building itself tells the story of the Holocaust from the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe to Hitler’s election, anti-Jewish policy in Nazi Germany, World War II, and the final solution.

Our experienced guide who is a grandson of Holocaust survivors will share with you horrific truth about the genocide that exterminated 2/3 of Europe’s Jewish population.

The Museum:

The Holocaust History Museum joins the best of Yad Vashem's aptitude, assets and best in class shows to take Holocaust recognition well into the 21st century .

The Holocaust History Museum possesses more than 4,200 square meters, for the most part underground. Both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, it introduces the tale of the Shoah from an extraordinary Jewish viewpoint, underscoring the encounters of the individual casualties through unique relics, survivor declarations and individual belonging.

Its 180 meters – long direct structure as a spike slices through the mountain with its highest edge – a bay window – projecting through the mountain edge. Exhibitions depicting the many-sided quality of the Jewish circumstance amid those unpleasant years fan out this spike-like shaft, and the exit rises significantly out of the mountainside, managing a perspective of the valley underneath. Special settings, spaces with changing statures, and diverse degrees of light emphasize central purposes of the unfurling account.

Toward the finish of the Museum's authentic story is the Hall of Names — a vault for the Pages of Testimony of a huge number of Holocaust casualties, a commemoration to the individuals who died.

From the Hall of Names, guests will proceed to the epilog and from that point to the overhang opening to an all encompassing perspective of Jerusalem.
